I am Irene Katzias, designer, creative director, and founder of Irene + Co Events, a luxury wedding planning and design studio serving New York, Connecticut, and Park City, Utah. I believe a wedding should be more than a beautiful day. It should be an intentional, immersive experience that tells your story through elevated design, thoughtful details, and seamless, expert execution.
For over a decade, I have planned and designed high end weddings across New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, Connecticut, and Park City, Utah. My work is rooted in storytelling. Every wedding I plan is custom, highly personal, and intentionally designed so no two celebrations ever look or feel the same. I work closely with my couples to translate who they are, how they love, and how they want their wedding day to feel into a cohesive design and flawlessly managed experience.
My approach to luxury wedding planning is hands on, high touch, and deeply collaborative. From the first planning conversation to the final moments of the wedding weekend, I oversee every detail with care, strategy, and intention. I lead my team with a calm, confident presence so my couples can feel fully supported and present throughout the entire planning process and on their wedding day.
In addition to planning weddings, I am a WeddingPro educator, speaker, and board member of WIPA Connecticut. I stay at the forefront of the wedding industry, continuously refining my process, design approach, and standards of service so my couples benefit from both creative vision and experienced execution.
